Arco, located in the heart of Lisbon's Chiado neighborhood, was originally envisioned as a flagship bar in New York City. However, with a tumultuous 2020 the team chose Lisbon for its favorable climate, proximity to fresh ingredients via its port, and vibrant, up-and-coming bar scene. Arco blends the charm of bouchon with the relaxed vibe of a Brooklyn bar—elegant, cozy, and unpretentious. We focus on crafting fresh, consistent drinks paired with exceptional service. Our bar is housed in a historic building at Rua Vítor Cordón 40, a protected landmark celebrated for its Pombaline architectural style and traditional Portuguese tiles. Adding to the experience, the iconic Tram 28 glides by our doorstep, making a dramatic right turn at the corner, offering an unforgettable sight as it seems to nearly brush our building.
