How do shared team credits work on Croissant?
Team Credits is a single shared balance that pays for everything your team books: coworking check-ins, guest visits, conference rooms and private offices. Every member on the Team credits plan draws from it. Admins see the balance and every entry under Team → Team Credits on the website; members see Team Credits on their account screen in the app and in the website header.
What a credit is worth
Your balance and every line in the ledger are shown as money in your region’s currency, not as a credit count. The value of a credit is set per currency; to check what you pay per credit, message us from Help or ask your account manager.
A coworking hour costs your region’s hourly rate converted into credits. A conference room or private office costs its listed price converted into credits. Booking emails show the listing’s cash price, so the two can differ by a few cents of rounding.
How the balance moves
“Checked in”, “Hosted a guest”, “Booked a conference room” and “Booked a private office” lines deduct from the balance, with the space, the duration and the order number.
“Team credits added” lines are top-ups Croissant records for your account.
Refunds and corrections put credits back.
Good to know
Your team keeps booking when the balance reaches zero. Members then see “Unlimited” instead of a balance. If usage goes past the balance, a person on the team contacts you about settling it.
There is no “buy credits” button. To top up before the balance runs out, message us from Help or contact your account manager.
Workplace policies can cap what a team or a member spends.
