Moinho Novo is a community-focused coworking space in Barreiro for remote workers and freelancers. Built around the idea that work should connect people to the place they live, the space brings together locals and newcomers through everyday work, shared experiences, and Barreiro’s culture and history. What this space offers

Phone Booths
We have two phone booths. These are open for anyone to use and they aren't bookable. Please respect others using the space and keep the duration under 45 minutes.

Feel free to warm up your meal in the kitchen.
Kitchen
You can leave your lunch in the fridge and use the kitchen to make your lunch!
Coffee & tea
Unlimited filter coffee and tea.
Ergonomic chairs
Grab a comfy ergonomic office chair that gives your lower back support, and promotes good posture, which helps to alleviate back pain.
Dog friendly
We have a dog called Nala who spends her days welcoming people and sleeping. You're welcome to bring your dog along. Please keep an eye on them so other people aren't disrupted.

What we love about Barreiro

The old CUF chemical works is now the Baía do Tejo park, and the tide mills at Alburrica still mark the shoreline. Designers, teachers and remote staff priced out of Lisbon fill the cafés along Rua Miguel Bombarda.
