How to Integrate Google Calendar with Croissant
A step-by-step guide to setting up Google Calendar integration on the Croissant partner portal. Learn how to configure conference room synchronisation, map meeting rooms, and test your setup.
Getting Started with Google Calendar on Croissant
Google Calendar is Google's cloud-based calendar service used by businesses to manage events. By integrating Google Calendar with Croissant, every conference room booking made by Croissant members will automatically appear as an event on your Google Calendar. Croissant also reads availability from your calendars, so rooms that are already booked won't be offered to members.
Follow the steps below to get your Google Calendar integration up and running.
How It Works
Croissant reads availability from Google Calendar and creates bookings as calendar events. When a member books on Croissant, the event syncs to Google Calendar automatically.
Real-Time Availability
When a Croissant member views a conference room, the available time slots come directly from your Google Calendar. If a room is booked on Google Calendar by someone else, it won't appear as available on Croissant.
Booking Details on Your Calendar
Every booking created by Croissant shows up as a calendar event. This gives you complete visibility into Croissant bookings without leaving Google Calendar.
One Account, Multiple Calendars
A single Google account connection gives Croissant access to all calendars under that account. When mapping rooms, you'll see every calendar available, so you can assign each conference room to its own dedicated calendar.

Step 1: Connect Google Calendar
- Log into the Croissant partner portal
- Navigate to Integrations and open the Booking Systems tab
- Select Google Calendar and click Add
- Sign in with your Google account via a simple Google sign-in and grant the requested permissions

Step 2: Map Your Meeting Rooms
- In the Croissant partner dashboard, go to Conference Rooms
- Assign conference room to a Google Calendar resource

Step 3: Testing
After connecting your Google Calendar, it's important to verify that everything is configured correctly before going live.
How to Test
- Find your conference room on Croissant
- Check if room availability is synced with Google Calendar
The test will confirm that Croissant can successfully communicate with your Google Calendar. If the test passes, your integration is ready to go. If there's an issue, try reconnecting your Google account in the partner portal, or reach out to our team for support.

Contact UsFrequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to set up the Google Calendar integration?
The entire setup takes under two minutes. Just sign in with your Google account and grant Croissant permission to manage your calendars. If you need help, reach out to partners@getcroissant.com and we'll help you get set up.
What happens if the connection to Google Calendar is lost?
If Croissant can't reach Google Calendar for a specific room repeatedly, you'll receive an email with steps to fix the issue. Most problems are resolved by reconnecting your Google account in the partner portal, which takes under a minute.
Do members need a Google account?
No. Members book through Croissant and never interact with Google Calendar directly. The integration is invisible to them.
