A new year, a smoother way to work

Picture a typical Monday. You open Croissant looking for somewhere to work, scrolling through a long list of spaces, hoping to land on one that feels right. By the time you've found it, you've lost twenty minutes you meant to spend heads-down. We heard this story over and over from members this past year — so for our first release of 2026, we set out to give you that time back.

Three features anchor this release, and together they follow the arc of a single workday: finding the right space, locking it in before someone else does, and handling the paperwork without thinking about it. Here's how each one came to be.

Space Recommendations

It started with a question we kept hearing: "Just tell me where I should go." Our members weren't short on options — they had hundreds of spaces to choose from. They were short on time to weigh them all. So instead of asking you to do the searching, we taught Croissant to do it for you. Space Recommendations quietly learns from how you actually work and surfaces the handful of spaces you're most likely to love, right when you open the app.

How It Works

Behind that short, personalized list is an engine reading the signals you leave every time you book:

• Location patterns - We learn which neighborhoods you prefer and suggest nearby spaces
• Amenity preferences - If you always book spaces with standing desks or phone booths, we prioritize those
• Usage patterns - Weekend warrior who coworks on Saturdays? We'll highlight spaces that fit your schedule
• Team coordination - When your teammates book, we suggest nearby spaces so you can work together

VAT Support

Finding and booking a space is the easy part. The part nobody talks about comes later, when an admin sits down at the end of the month to reconcile bookings across a half-dozen countries — each with its own tax rules, each invoice needing to be just right for the finance team. For our enterprise customers, that quiet end-of-month scramble had become a real cost. This release makes it disappear.

• VAT-compliant invoices - Download invoices that meet local tax requirements
• Multi-country support - Seamless handling across EU and other regions

Enterprise administrators can configure VAT settings in the team dashboard. All historical bookings will also be available with proper VAT breakdowns for your records.

Booking in Advance

The recommendation gets you to the right space. But what happens when you find it on a Tuesday and don't need it until next week? Until now, Croissant lived in the moment — great for spontaneity, less great for the client call you've had on the calendar for a month, or the team day everyone's already cleared their schedules for. You told us, plainly: sometimes you just need to know the spot will be there. Now you can lock it in.

Advance booking is available on all membership plans. Simply select your preferred date when booking any space, and you're all set.
